Fitness and Health

Introduction

Health is wealth and this statement is not only limited to physical health but it also applies to
mental health.
We are of the view that everything starts with the mind and once the mind has conquered the object, the body follows accordingly.

Josh Billings hit the nail on the head with regards to how we as humans take our health for granted when he said that “Health is like money, we never have a true idea of its value until we lose it”. Like we said, health is wealth. Don’t be that person that is laying on a sick bed wishing they took their physical and mental health more seriously.

Our advice at SAX would be to find a hobby that is therapeutic to you whether it be everyday weight training or going on hikes on weekends. We are well aware that the next bit of advice is easier said than done but, if you know you have mental health issues, speak to someone, a professional or loved one and lets get you the help you need.

If you are looking to turn your body around and achieve those body goals you set, then make sure you are eating right. You can not out gym a bad diet, this is a fact you need to get comfortable with unless you have superior genes that do not care what you fill your body with, just as long as you fill it.

Sax will cover topics on fitness such as the best cardio exercises for fat loss, how to train while on holiday or outside of the gym and what foods should compliment this lifestyle etc. We truly believe that each element (style, grooming, fitness and health) plays an equal and integral part in moulding one into the quintessential gentleman that is well rounded, a SAX.
